Profusa’s history, like all those looking for success, is based on deep seriousness, research and, above all, strong will to work.
Founded in March 1963, in São Paulo, Capital of the State, by Ernesto D’Antino, Otávio Serrano, and Silvio Landini, it started is activities representing Beta, at that time manufacturer of isothermals, gloves, refractory coatings etc.. Taking advantage of the opportunity offered by the market, and assuming the commitment to grown with quality, since the first days, they went to Germany to obtain the best technology. At the end of 70's decade, they signed an operational agreement with the Schulling, a Dutch/German company It was through this agreement that Taparil® was created, a sealant for moulds, recognized by its efficiency and fully asbestos free, in addition to other products, alcohol based refractory coatings, zirconium, all these still unknown in Brazil. It became the first company with a full national capital, in the area of products for Foundry and Iron Metallurgy.
As from the year 2000, under administration of Dr. Sérgio D’Antino and Mrs. D. Yvonne Famá D’Antino, Profusa started a new phase with actions that aim to adapt the company to the reality of the global economy, modernizing the plant, investing in research and development of new products, marketing, partnerships within and out of Brazil among others. Conquer of ISO 9001 Certification: 2000, in October 2002, it formally assured that the changing process towards quality effectively was consolidated. Today, the fundry processes of our clients are followed-up monthly by Profusa’s technicians. In addition to sales, the objective is to direct, inform, help the professionals that, directly or indirectly, are involved in the use of our products. Thus, we are also making available equipment designed and built by us, offering comfort, practicality, security and productivity. Technical lectures, with videos and didactic material, complement the action of a true advisory services, provided by professionals with large market experience.
